Educational Qualifications:
Seaman ->
(a)
Essential - 10th class or equivalent. 3 years Experience in sea going
mechanized vessel with 2 years in helmsman & seaman ship work.
(b) Desirable - Certificate of competency as "Mate cf fishing vessel" issued by Marine Mercantile Department.
(b) Desirable - Certificate of competency as "Mate cf fishing vessel" issued by Marine Mercantile Department.
Tindal ->
(a)
Essential - 8th class pass. 10 Years service on sea going vessel with 5
years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted
with auxiliary sails.
(b) Desirable - Certificate of competency for inland Master 1st class; Certificate of service; Matriculation or equivalent.
(b) Desirable - Certificate of competency for inland Master 1st class; Certificate of service; Matriculation or equivalent.
Selection Process: Written Test / Interview / Skill Test
